Hi and welcome to the latest issue of
'Nita's Helping Hands'! A special welcome to our new
subscribers -- I hope this finds you all safe and well!
I hope each and every one of you in the 'States'
thoroughly enjoyed your Thanksgiving Holiday -- I know
I did!
Many times it's hard to get back into the swing of
things after a holiday, especially when most of us have
Christmas or Hanukkah to look forward to! Running
around, looking for the perfect gift, standing in long
lines, trying to stay warm -- all these things can lead
to additional stress and worry. But try to look at the
bright side of all this -- at least we're in a free
country where we are allowed the freedom to worship our
own chosen religion (or none), have the money and
opportunity to purchase gifts for our loved ones (even
if they are only small, inexpensive gifts), and we have
friends and family to share the holidays with. It
really doesn't get much better than that!
Don't forget I'm now offering a tremendous 35% discount
to all existing or new clients! By clicking here:
www.NitaHelpingHand.com/referral.htm you can see how
you can obtain your proofreading and/or copy editing
services absolutely FREE!! Now is the perfect time to
get your business or book geared up for a special promotion
to kick off the new year right! Contact me right away
before I get booked up!
Enjoy each and every day!

Gratitude
Looking at the tragedies and weather catastrophes that have
hit the US and the world, those of us who have escaped the
impact directly have much to be grateful for. Even though we
may not have been touched directly, we have ALL been touched,
haven't we? Extreme situations bring out the best in us -
our compassion, generosity - our humanity at its best.
The Thanksgiving and Christmas/Hanukkah traditions ignite
our generous, compassionate, loving hearts for about six
weeks. Then New Year's comes and it's time to set our
intentions for the coming year. We feel pressured to hit
the ground running towards various pursuits.
For most of us, our attention is held for just so long
before we return to our own lives and all the people and
responsibilities we manage. That's life, right?
Imagine how the world might be if we all held on to that
spirit of generosity and gratitude every day! Imagine how
your life might change. How YOU might change? What type
of person might you become?
Did you know:
Generosity and gratitude are powerful attractors
of abundance? The energy of gratitude magnetizes abundance
and good things to us. Consider random acts of kindness,
paying it forward. Having a mindset of "what can I do for
you?" instead of "what can you do for me?" Being in a
relationship with others with a generous heart may
dramatically change your life!
Gratitude is a fearbuster. When we're in gratitude,
we feel connected to our loving hearts, our spirituality,
and others. It's hard to feel fear when we're on joy!
Being in gratitude keeps us in a state of
appreciation. Your exercise for the next 30 days (and
beyond!) is three-fold.
1. Be generous with people. Offer your time, knowledge,
money, yourself - whatever you have to share in contri-
bution to someone else. It can be as big or small a gesture
as opening a door, smiling at someone, or paying a
compliment. Be open to lifting someone's heart.
2. Practice daily gratitude. Put your attention on
recognizing and appreciating the gifts you have in your
life. Be appreciative in both your heart and your actions.
3. Be loving towards yourself. Practice strong self-care.
So often we focus on people and things in our life and
forget to appreciate who we are. Be grateful for the gift
that you are!

CELL PHONE NUMBERS
JUST A REMINDER ... cell phone numbers are being released
to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive
sale calls. YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS!
These telemarketers will eat up your free minutes and end up
costing you money in the long run.
To prevent this, call the following number from your cell
phone:
888-382-1222. It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will
only take a minute of your time and blocks your number for
five (5) years.
PASS THIS IMPORTANT MESSAGE ON TO ALL YOUR
FRIENDS.
